Thanks Lynx! I probably should take the time to type and save the story. Maybe I can talk Sydspigs into helping me and then posting it over on the kids forum?

Sydspigsmom, I think I've even seen an illustrated children's book with the giant example, but I can't think of a name. It might be a good bedtime story to read to kids...

Jedifrec, Oooh I would be interested in reading it! I have a "small" picture book addiction. ;)

Sydspigsmom, I would also be happy to give your original story a special page we could link to so it is more findable (maybe we need a section on new pigs and kids).

a "Pigs and Kids" section sounds great, especially given G-Force is coming out soon. I hope it's given a lot of prominence on the home page!

Lynx, We'll start on it this weekend! I'm no author, just a mom with a weird imagination. I make no promises. :)

That's okay. Would you like me to edit it? Like "based on" for the credits? I would be happy to fine tune it.

You know, for children who are old enough there's always Roald Dahl's The BFG. I'm a sucker for his kids books.

I got Sydspigsmom's story up. But it isn't linked to anything (I have to figure out how to work it in to the guide):

It's the kind of story that is fun to read out loud. I'd like to have a printable pdf with a giant as the background :-)

I was cleaning up old files for the https conversion and ran across an adorable page!
This topic had to do with very young children and guinea pigs. Lots of ideas on it and a wonderful story by Sydspigsmom which was added some years back but not well integrated into the site.

It is, unfortunately, not currently on a mobile friendly page - don't think I have time to focus currently on the handful of pages that are not mobile friendly - but it is wonderful!
