Natrium clorid (has several different spellings) is plain old salt, like you sprinkle on your food. Nothing poison about it unless you drink too much of it.

A weak bleach solution will kill mold.

Thank you both very much..I think this is main ingredient:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sodium_hypochlorite
https://www.bauhaus.si/cistila-in-odstr ... p/22979432

Cause there is sadly quite a lot of it we will try to remove it entirely with Clox on thursday..
with zig and win out of the room for at least 12-24hours..

thanks again:)

Make sure the bleach is well-diluted. It is very strong. One important note is to pour, say, a quart of water into a container first and then put the smaller amount of bleach in. This would be only one part bleach to 20 parts water.

Never add water directly to bleach. You want to do it the other way around for safety. In other words, add the bleach to the water.

What can i even say..we fixed it..
It wasnt just horrible iz was worse.
This bleach needs to be used the way it is - unmixed with water.
We used ir without protection and we hadbto do it twice..and than painted walls with special anti mold colour.
We need to put everything away from the wall including kitchen.
Itbwasbwork for 14 days yet we did it in 3days..
Winnie is still not in the room..she s going bacl tomorrow..zig can go today with open windows.
Thank you for support..
I dont wish this upon anyone and mold ee had was simply severe. Some call pro workers in those cases and i understand why.
And we simply had too much laundry and all that..
But it had to be done..and we will have to be extracareful with clothes, we removed every piece of furniture we dont need ..we need to put enough air in etc..we dont have anything against the wall ..
And yeah having pets cant be difficult in cases like this.. but we dont mibd the work..we want to have perfect living conditions:)as we always did

A lot of work and a bit dangerous! Full strength bleach is tremendously strong. I am glad you had good ventilation. Bleach is indeed one of the few things that will take out mold. In homes with black mold, I believe all the sheetrock is removed and wall sprayed with bleach. You need protective equipment, not a simple mask.

Yes, black mold is worse. It can make people sick (some homes here have it).

Here we are way faster than expected..
Before mold actions Ziggy had smelly urine,..but as there were no other signs of anything wrong and its a bit more difficult to get urine out of cat without vet visit than from pig or dog..we decided to wait..where it will all lead to..luckily urine now smells normal.
Ziggy is rescued cat from the road eleven years ago, she came crying by hereself, shot and with defected paw.
Her date of birth is cca 22.8.2014.
Otherwise she s atlethic built short hair three legged domestic cat. Very strong, youtful and healthy hope she will stay that age.
She looks 5 not 11.

And than update on Win..
Weight is stable..poops are okay..urine is okay..legs had minor redness still, but thats all..one day i am gonna send a photo of her paws..vet said that its no big deal, but we dont like it.. she s beena ctive.. head is a little warmer maybe but not too a lot.
However..last 2 days she s been hooting and making crackling sounds. Quite severe:(
She did x-ray (full body including heart, lungs, belly etc all looked perfectly okay)on januar this year all clear, she did bacterial culture and enterococcus was found.
However she never got rid of hooting totally..
In the summer urinary problems attacked us, but luckily we attacked them back succesfully.
With uri symtptoms..it was so minor(mostly when she eats) she didnt need no AB from mid feb.
I decided to immidiatly change the hay this evening..she s on fleece with little hay..if it wont be better we will start azythomicyn as this bacteria only reacted on marbocyl and gentamicin combined and on azythromicin.
I would be really happy if this calmed down but we will see.. next few days..

We didnt try manuka yet as i dont wanna bother her too much with medical stuff and we had such a happy summer.

As Peter Tosh say : peace is sign written on gravestone..

But we are allways in action always up to something, we rarely are having peace..its seems that is our faith.. and we re just delighted we can still be around...it aint problems, its life, right..i will report if we will start AB(hope we wont have to)

There is special cat litter that you can use to get a urine sample from your cat, something like this:

http://www.katkor.com/Katkor_English/About_Katkor.html

I imagine it would work for piggies too, as long as they don’t eat from the litter.
