I want you to close your eyes and picture this. Have cupboard with drawers in it next to it a vanity cupboard 2 doors glass in middle.
On top of these are Justice's cage and Joan's cage. On top of Justice is Jet in(or will be )2 pet crates. Now here is my problem.
In front of these cupboards are 4 tiny picnic tables about a foot high and 18-24 inches long. On top of these are 3 crates. Joined together with cable ties and they all have curtain rods in a n shape. Now the 2 crates on the ends has one side down BUT crate in the middle has both ends down so it is very flimsy even with curtain rods at each end of it.
My problem is when I wish to do Justice or Joan I can't get crates to move off picnic tables. They kind of fall off and one in middle without ends being the worse. Then once I have done Justice or Joan I can't get crates back onto picnic tables.

As hard to picture here are pictures sorry for the size of them. Was wondering would remove tables and wheels in curtain rods work or something else? I chose crates cause if boys fight just need to put up a side and wouldn't need another cage. So far Jack the runt is throwing his weight around. Hope he knows what he is doing!

Would you like this post in the Cavy Chat forum instead? Since it has to do with cages, you might get more feedback there. I can move it for you if you'd like.

Here you go. I hope someone has some ideas for you.

p.s. sometimes you can get better pictures with lots and lots of light. At least it helps me.

I can't really tell much about it. I would just mention that guinea pig cages need to have good air circulation. With them stacked on top of each other, and I also see some bedding or towels piled on top, the ventilation may not be ideal.

Your best bet would be to look at the cage pictures over at Guinea Pig Cages. There are thousands of examples of every kind of cage set up you can imagine.

I also see some bedding or towels piled on top
I had taken clothes from drier and started syringe feeding Jay and Jewel, after which clothes were used for cages that were due to be cleaned out. Plus yesterday even though Summer 2 weeks away we have a LaNina what ever you call it. We had rain, hail 100km winds, and electrical storms. It did not get above 9C and I was cold and so was the house. Crates have 4 sides where air can get in. Bedding was only on top.
