Unfortunately, my Bactrim was left out of the fridge for 12 hours. It’s a suspension and it does say on the bottle to keep it refrigerated. My guinea pig has a UTI. Unfortunately the pharmacy that compounded it is closed today for New Year’s Day. I don’t know if it is safe to give her the medication. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

Good news. I found a compounding pharmacist who could give me an answer and she said it is ok to use. Phew! I will leave this up in case it helps someone else.

So happy to know you were able to get a pharmacist to answer your question!
