I wouldn't know which one to try. If maybe I can get some names then I can search for them and see what is available here. Thanks Lynx. Should I stay on Prednislone?

If you have a good vet, they should be aware of the pros and cons and be administering it appropriately.

Vet only has Pron8ure formerly Protexin and they only recommend this one. I use Yakult but this is a milk product so no good for guinea pigs. Poops are back to mushy! May have to go back onto Anaplex? Oh hum never ends! Thanks for the reply Lynx.

If you go into your local pharmacy, there should be some over the counter pill or powder form probiotics that do not include milk. There are many many kinds.

I am guessing this would work, as would the other listings they offer as similar products:

Do you have pharmacies you can shop at? Do you have pharmacists who could point you to a suitable product?

Have gone to chemist in the past and they say you'll have to ask your vet. We only do/know people. It is very difficult here!

No, ask as though you are asking for yourself. Probiotics are good across a number of species. Look for a human powdered probiotic that contains good stuff.

I am not that smart to know what is good stuff or not. But will go and have a look today if the rain clears up and have a look at what they have. Thanks Lynx. What about this one? Doesn't say what's in it but does mention what it does. https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/18427831788 ... SwjW5gbkqH Had no idea you could buy Probiotic toothpaste and mouthwash. What ever next?

That looks like as good a choice as any. A reputable manufacturer is good. I think this is in capsule form? In which case, you would slice the capsule open and could give perhaps a quarter or a third (whatever seems right to you).

If I bought it I could crush it with our mortar and pestle and give a pinch twice a day in water or sprinkled on her food? Would that be OK? Thanks Lynx!

Yes, I'd go for sprinkling on some wet vegs and see how that went.
